Frequently asked questions about PawsPet Business for your trade
- No recurring costs, no subscription and no monthly fee: calendar, clients, pet records, orders and statistics are free. On every transaction PawsPet keeps 10% of the price you set, Stripe fees included. A client who pays in the app adds a €1 service fee (1% above €100).
- The thirteen categories of the business profile: pet sitting, grooming, training, boarding, veterinary practice, equestrian centre, farrier and trimming, breeder, pet shop, pet transport, pet photography, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, other. You choose a single category in the «General» step.
- No: you sign in to PawsPet Business with the same account you use in PawsPet. You create the business profile with «Sign up your business» here on the website, in the web version at app.pawspet.it or in the PawsPet Business app. In the PawsPet app for owners, the «Become a merchant» card at the bottom of the «Services» tab leads to PawsPet Business.
- Check that your profile is set to «Public» and that you have published at least one service, with the right address and area: people searching see professionals close to the place they chose. The «Activate your shop» box on the «Dashboard» guides you through the steps, including Stripe verification for card payments. Still missing? Message us on WhatsApp.
- When the client pays in the app, the card is usually charged when you accept; if the order stays on «Pre-authorized payment», tap «Collect payment». The net amount reaches your Stripe account once the client confirms, or automatically 7 days after «Mark as delivered». Stripe then transfers it to your bank account: balance and transfers are in «Payouts».
