PawsPet is a free animal rescue and shelter app: one record for every animal in your care, volunteers and foster families invited as collaborators with the permissions you choose, and free adoption listings that start from the animal's record. No subscription. Publishing in the shelter's name with an optional adoption contribution also needs a PawsPet Business profile.
We believe every animal deserves care and attention. That's why pet management on PawsPet is free, with no subscription, for associations, shelters, kennels, catteries and all non-profit organisations dedicated to animal welfare.
PawsPet
In the Pets list you search by name, species, breed, colour, location (pen, colony, foster home) or by who looks after the animal. Switch from list to photo grid, jump to a letter with the side index, and find deceased animals grouped at the end.
Invite anyone with a PawsPet account as a collaborator on one animal and choose what they see or edit: health, activities, profile details. When a shift or a foster placement ends, remove them from the same screen. Documents stay visible only to the shelter.
From the animal's menu tap «Offer for adoption»: title, health declaration, draft or publish. The listing is free, people browse it on the PawsPet website or through the link you share, and the health history follows the animal to its new family.
With a PawsPet Business profile you pick «Publishing as» and the listing goes out in the shelter's or charity's name. To propose an optional contribution to adopters, submit the «Breeder verification» dossier as «Shelter» or «Association»: PawsPet reviews it.

Yes. There is no subscription: records, collaborators and adoption listings cost nothing. You only pay when money goes through the app: if your organisation books and pays for a service in the app, a €1 service fee is added (1% above €100); if it receives payments through the app, PawsPet keeps a share of them.
Each volunteer has their own PawsPet account and you invite them as a collaborator on the individual animals they look after. Permissions come in View/Edit pairs for Health, Activities, profile details and collaborators; there are no preset roles, and access stays until you remove it.
No. Documents and the passport stay visible only to the account that owns the record, whatever permissions you grant. Deleting an animal is reserved to the record's owner. A collaborator always sees at least the profile details; the rest depends on their permissions.
Anyone visiting the adoptions section of the PawsPet website and anyone you send the listing link to. Requests live in the app: from «My animal listings» open the listing, then «Requests received». Each request is a message with no name or contact details: read it, open the chat to know more and accept one; the interview and the decision stay with you.
You need PawsPet Business: from the Profile tab open Verification, then «Breeder verification» and «Fill in the dossier», choose «Shelter» or «Association», add your registration details if you have them and attach at least one document. Once PawsPet has reviewed it, you can publish in the shelter's name with an optional contribution.
Download PawsPet, register the first animal and invite the people who look after it. To publish in the shelter's name and propose an optional contribution, move on to PawsPet Business.
